TCES Changing the direction: Successful Early Intervention in EBSA

This event is intended for parents and professionals who work with children and young people with SEND and EBSA, but it is open to anyone.

Attendees will gain an understanding of emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), including emerging themes from the latest research and information to help identify whether EBSA or anxiety about school might be the cause of other behavioural issues. We will explain the evidence-based approach to working with students with EBSA, where support should be curious, non-judgemental, and collaborative to deliver early intervention, working with families using an individualised approach.
